Join Crime Victims United of California for our Annual Reception, an evening dedicated to honoring those who have made a lasting impact in advancing victims’ rights and strengthening public safety.
This year, we proudly recognize the 48 Hours production team for their decades of investigative reporting that has brought national attention to the stories of crime victims and the pursuit of justice, including shining a light on Catina’s story. We will also honor our 2026 Legislators of the Year, including Assemblymembers Juan Alanis, Blanca Rubio, and Maggy Krell, along with Senator Kelly Seyarto, for their commitment to policies that support victims and hold offenders accountable.
In addition, we will pay tribute to the legacy of Congressman Doug LaMalfa, whose leadership and dedication to crime victims will not be forgotten.
This event brings together advocates, lawmakers, and community members from across California who share a commitment to ensuring victims are heard, supported, and never overlooked. It is both a celebration of progress and a continued call to action.
